Just the other day, someone was asking...
There are different reasons why people get leg cramps. They are more common the older we get. How to deal with the cramp depends on the cause. It may be due to the drugs your are taking, hydration, thyroid disorders, pregnancy, alcohol, salt (mineral) imbalance, exercise, nerves, circulation, or other disorders. Be sure to keep well hydrated; supplement minerals especially if you are taking diuretics, participate in heavy exercise or work outdoors, or are pregnant. Consider stretching exercises or massage. Check this site for more information about leg cramps. Talk with your pharmacist or doctor.
